Description
NASAL WASH can be used for daily cleaning of the nasal cavity (isotonic solution) and in every case of nasal congestion such as cold or allergic rhinitis, acute and chronic sinusitis, exposure to smoke, or irritants (hypertonic solution). Thanks to its water affinity, NASAL WASH attracts a large amount of water promoting the hydration of nasal mucosa and the fluidification of mucus secretions. NASAL WASH contains PEG 3350, an inert substance that is not adsorbed from the mucosae and does not irritate the tissue. PEG is a wetting agent. It exerts a moisturising activity, helping to maintain hydration in the irritated mucosa. The product is enriched with sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate, which are indicated to drain excess secretions from the nasal mucosa. In the case of hypertonic solutions, salts also provide a decongestant effect. Mechanism of action: Nasal irrigation facilitates the cleaning of the mucosa, easing the expulsion of excess mucus, pollen, scabs, and substances accumulated during the day which can compromise normal respiratory well-being. In addition, the expulsion of impurities and the ability to maintain a clean and hydrated mucosa make the nasal wash a complementary treatment to alleviate the symptoms of upper respiratory tract diseases, facilitating the restoration of normal mucosal functions and the rehydration of irritated mucosa.

Isotonic solution: Up to 3 times per day
Hypertonic solution: 1-2 times per day, based on severity of conditions.
Pack size
One box contains 30 sachets of saline solution enriched with PEG 3350.
240 ml is included in the package.
It is also available with the packaging containing only the 3 sachets, the bottle can be reused.
How to use
1)Fill the bottle with still bottled water at 35-40 ° C, up to the line indicating the level of 240 ml.
2) Hypertonic solution: Dissolve the content of 2 sachets into the bottle. Useful in case of nasal congestion due to upper respiratory disease (such as cold, allergic rhinitis, acute and chronic sinusitis).
Isotonic solution: Dissolve the content of 1 sachet into the bottle. It is useful to prevent the accumulation of secretions, or for daily nasal cavity cleaning. Shake the bottle until the powder dissolved completely in the water.
3) Bend your head laterally on the opposite side of the treated nostril and slightly lean forward.
4) Insert the end of the bottle into a nostril breathing with your mouth open.
5) Apply a slight pressure on the base of the bottle.
Wait until the solution flows into the nose out of the opposite nostril.
6) During the wash, breathe open-mouthed.
7) At the end of irrigation (half bottle), remain still for a few moments with the head bent forward.
8) Repeat the same operation with the remaining half solution in the other nostril.
9) Blow your nose gently.
10) After each use, fill the bottle with water and a few drops of liquid soap, and shake vigorously to perform an effective cleaning.
11) Dry the inside with a towel or let it air dry before the next use.
Indication
